La iniciativa MuscleTech dispone de sus propios científicos que investigan tanto en el ámbito médico como en el de la ciencia básica, colaborando con centros internacionales vinculados a la actividad investigadora sobre músculo y tendón en áreas como el movimiento, el ejercicio físico, el deporte y la calidad de vida en el proceso de envejecimiento humano.

Gil RodasEl Dr. Gil Rodas es el Director Científico de MuscleTech Network desde 2009. Licenciado en Medicina y Doctor por la Universidad de Barcelona, es especialista en medicina deportiva y ha realizado investigación en diagnóstico, tratamiento y prevención de lesiones músculo-tendinosas; valoración funcional, control y seguimiento del entrenamiento de los deportistas; genética y deporte; variabilidad de la frecuencia cardíaca (HRV) como indicador de la condición física y del estrés y análisis de medidas segmentales de bioimpedancia.

Durante su carrera ha realizado diversas publicaciones, ha participado como ponente en varios congresos y conferencias. Además, a parte de su carrera como Médico del FC Barcelona también es un reconocido científico y una persona destacada en el mundo de la Medicina Deportiva y en la investigación aplicada a este campo.
